Welcome to MegaToyLandia!

My name is Justyna Okaz, and I’d love to share a little about how and why this business started. I was born in Poland and moved to the U.S. when I was 8 years old. Adjusting to a new country and language was hard, and although I quickly picked up English, keeping up with Polish was a struggle. The only place I could practice was at home. My parents constantly reminded me to speak Polish, encouraging me to stay connected to my roots. They’d always say, “You’ll appreciate it when you’re older.” And they were right — being bilingual has been a gift I’m forever grateful for.

Now that I’m a mom myself, I’m determined to pass that gift down to my two children, born in 2020 and 2021. But I quickly realized something — even in Chicago, which has such a rich Polish community, it’s surprisingly difficult to find Polish-language toys, books, and games. I wanted my kids to grow up loving their heritage and language, but the options were so limited.

That’s when I knew I needed to do something, not just for my family but for other parents and grandparents who felt the same. I started MegaToyLandia because I believe every child should have access to products that celebrate their heritage and make learning their family’s language fun. It’s not just about toys — it’s about keeping our culture and traditions alive, one play session at a time.

 

My hope is that these products will help children, whether they’re in Chicago or anywhere else, stay connected to their roots and create happy memories that tie them back to Poland. Thank you for supporting this dream and for letting me be a part of your family’s journey.
